Poster Second Draft

For the second draft I have made the text 'we only want to play' a different shade of grey as well as adding a blur to it by doing this I made it more mysterious. As well as this, I have removed the blood from the top of the 'P' in playtime which makes it easier to make out that the title is 'Playtime'. I did this because of my audience feedback as it allows me to get a better effect and engage viewers of the poster.

  1. WWW - You don't appear to have made many changes here VJ, and if you have they are so minute, they are unnoticeable. It would be useful if you could have some evidence of how you have improved it and what changes you have made and why.
It's looking good, and the image works well. The font is effective and links clearly to ideas in the film as does the image.
EBI - Is this image going to work well now you have changed the box in the film?
Could you add something to the background to introduce other elements of the plot or setting maybe?
Could you edit the strap line in order to use a more childish or playful font so it fits better with what is being conveyed? Remember as well that you are marked for using a range of font designs and sizes.
Does 'based on a true story' work with this film? Generally, this is used for supernatural films - would clowns killing people really have happened? This is why your decision process is so important so these questions can be answered. I need to see more evidence of not just what you have done, but why you have done it.

  2. There doesn't seem to be any evidence of you testing these posters with another market other than staff.
